MC Ashraf Garda announces the winners of the #HackJozi 2016 Challenge at a Gala Dinner held at The Wits Club on 19 May.

 

#HackJozi 2016: 2nd runner-up eSubmit

The #HackJozi Challenge 2016 winners were announced at The Wits Club on 19 May. Second runner-up was awarded to Lomile Mokoka, a qualified architect, who developed eSubmit as an e-solution for a problem she was experiencing first-hand when submitting building plan applications to the municipality.

 

#HackJozi 2016: 1st runner-up Tuta-Me 

The #HackJozi Challenge 2016 winners were announced at The Wits Club on 19 May. First runner-up was the multidisciplinary team that developed Tuta-Me, a mobile application that connects qualified tutors and students, enabling students to receive one-on-one tutoring while empowering tutors to earn or supplement their income.

#HackJozi 2016 WINNER: Neo Hutiri, Technovera 

The #HackJozi Challenge 2016 winners were announced at The Wits Club on 19 May. First prize of R1 million was awarded to Neo Hutiri, founder of Technovera, a technology-enabled service that allows people with chronic conditions to collect their repeat medication in just a few minutes as opposed to waiting several hours in long queues.
